Riot Games released a Valorant patch update giving a huge nerf to Sage. The developers did not spare Killjoy on the downgrade as well.
The latest Valorant patch update brought a lot of changes to several agents. However, the lineup constant, Sage, and the latest agent Killjoy took the most hit.
Two agents took a huge buff to make them more viable. Breach and Viper are boosted to provide a higher win rate.
Sage and Killjoy changes
If there is one agent that is a priority pick, then that would be Sage. Her healing abilities, barrier orb, and slow orb are all team-oriented skills that are useful in every match.
However, Riot Games decided that her skills are too much thus needing a nerf.
Her heal has been reduced from 100 health in 5 seconds to 60 health in 5 seconds. Self-heal has the same amount but has a slower rate of 10 seconds.
The Slow Orb size is reduced by 30%. Meanwhile, her Fortifying Barrier is now cheaper at 300. But the Wall now forms at 400HP and gets fortified to 800HP after three seconds.
On the other hand, Killjoy’s Nanoswarm has been nerfed as well. The Nanoswarm DPS is now 40 from the previous 60. There is also an added windup before the damages begin. A visual effect is also added to make it easier to spot on the ground.
Luckily, her turret gun got a small buff. It is no longer revealed by Sova’s Recon Bolt.
Patch 1.07 has arrived with our first Killjoy update, changes to shotguns, a remake option, and those hit reg visual improvements you’ve been asking for. And those are just the highlights! Read the full patch notes here: https://t.co/i5JZBkPYPt pic.twitter.com/BDTl6uIbe9

Other agents buffed
Breach’s flashpoint now has three charges instead of two. The amount of windup time is a millisecond faster. It also works similarly to other flashes in-game as well.
His Rolling Thunder and Concussion has been buffed as well.
Viper, on the other hand, gets a Toxic Screen buff allowing her to use it during the buy phase. Decay does not affect allies and Viper’s Pit is now shown on the minimap.
The Valorant patch update balances overpowered characters. This is in a bid to make all agents more viable in competitive play.
