Bravo has announced the dismissal of Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni from Vanderpump Rules.
The American reality television series Vanderpump Rules was a major hit for Bravo. The show has proved its success in the entertainment industry.
It even secured 8 seasons and a spinoff. However, with the current change in its casting, the series would be very different if it returns for season 9.
Vanderpump Rules drops 4 stars
According to Variety, Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules. Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were fired following the emergence of racist tweets they made in January.
Meanwhile, Schroeder and Doute were dropped by the show for reporting their former co-star Faith Stowers to the police for a crime she didn’t commit. The people behind the decision are now discussing ways so that Bravo can publicly and more thoroughly address the situation.
Schroeder and Doute accused former co-worker Faith Stowers
Former Vanderpump Rules cast Faith Stowers recalled the incident during an Instagram Live, explaining:
“There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me.”
Neither Schroeder nor Doute made a secret of it. Schroeder spoke about the incident during a podcast interview in 2018. While Kristen Doute tweeted an article about the allegations. However, racism and discrimination have no place on Bravo, thus, leading to the dismissal of the two.

Schroeder and Doute apologizes
After Stowers’ video emerged, both Schroeder and Doute took to social media to react and apologize. Schroeder wrote on Instagram:
“My emotions over something that happened between our friends outweighed my logic, and there is no excuse for that. I did not recognize then the serious ramifications that could have transpired because of my actions. What I did to Faith was wrong. I apologize and I do not expect forgiveness.”
Doute, on the other hand, claimed on Twitter that her actions were not racially driven. However, she is now completely aware of her actions and how it blinded her.

As for Stowers, she shared her reaction in an interview with Page Six, stating:
“I feel so vindicated studios and production are able to see blatant racism and make these positive changes and help move the race forward — help with the fight forward.”
