Vanessa Bryant, who proudly calls herself “hoarder wife,” shared some of her favorite Kobe items from the NBA superstar’s life.
She posted pictures of the Lakers legend’s high school jersey on her private Instagram, which the Bryant family didn’t get until 2013.
Speaking on her Instagram Stories, “The fact that he was auctioned off and my husband had to buy this and more back is so sad. Glad we have it back.”
Vanessa showed off some shoes, including the pair Kobe Bryant wore during his first championship run with the Los Angeles Lakers.
“I keep everything for my baby and our girls,” the widow added.
She also shared some locker room shirt and shorts that were soaked in champagne after the Lakers won in 2001.
There were also some Lakers jackets from his teenage years, photographs of her husband’s All-Star jersey, and autographed basketballs from different NBA events.
Black Mamba fans may be dying to get their hands on these items, but Vanessa would never put these possessions up for sale.
Vanessa sharing some of her Kobe Bryant keepsakes came just after her public fallout with her mom, Sofia Laine.
The 38-year-old mom-of-four told her via Us Weekly, “We are often let down by the most trusted people and loved by the most unexpected ones.”
“Some make us cry for things that we haven’t done, while others ignore our faults and just see our smile.”
“Some leave us when we need them the most, while some stay with us even when ask them to leave.”
Vanessa’s post concluded, “The world is a mixture of people. We just need to know which hand to shake and which hand to hold! After all, that’s life, learning to hold on and learning to let go.”
Two days ago, Sofia Laine claimed that Vanessa kicked her out of their house and wanted the car back she gave her.
“She told me, ‘I need you to get out of this house.’ She also told me that she wanted her car, and she wants it now,” Sofia told reporter Dave Valadez in Spanish.
It’s unclear what was the cause of the mother-daughter fallout, but Vanessa Bryant gave a statement.
“My husband and daughter passed away unexpectedly, and yet my mother had the audacity to do a television interview speaking negatively of me while shedding tears for a car and a house that were not in her name.”
“She has removed all her diamond jewelry, emptied the apartment I provided. And put away the furniture to make it look like she doesn’t have my support.
She further claimed she and Kobe had been financially supporting Sofia for the last twenty years on top of her monthly alimony.
