Riverdale actress Vanessa Morgan is pregnant, and she made the announcement over the weekend. She also revealed that she and husband Michael Kopech are having a baby boy.

The actress admitted she considered keeping her pregnancy a secret
The 28-year-old actress said that she initially debated if she will divulge her condition or not and decided it would be best just to let it out.
Vanessa also shared that she and her MLB pro-baseball player husband found out about her pregnancy in May.
“Was debating keeping this part of my life hidden but I knew people would see pictures eventually with my belly and I wanted you guys to hear it from me,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I do want to keep this chapter of my life private but did want to be the first to share the news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January (2021).”

Vanessa and Michael tied the knot in January, and the wedding was very intimate and private. It was only attended by 40 people consisting of their family and closest friends, including some of her Riverdale co-stars – Madelaine Petsch, Skeet Ulrich, and Drew Ray Tanner.
As reported by People, the wedding that was organized by Tami Varma took place at the Walton Historic House in Florida.
The newlyweds and their guests were said to have partied all night long at the venue’s tropical gardens.
The Chicago White Sox’s pitcher proposed to Vanessa Morgan in July 2019, just one year since they started dating. The romantic proposal happened in front of a waterfall in Mooney Falls, Supai, Arizona.

Mom-to-be’s message to her unborn son
Vanessa Morgan also said a short message to her unborn child. She is so happy that she told him she couldn’t wait to be the best mom to him.
“Lil one you were made with so much love and already exude a light so strong it warms my belly,” she shared as part of her IG post. “Thank you God for this blessing, I’m just so happy and can’t wait to dedicate every day to be the best mommy I can be. I’ll love you forever.”
Meanwhile, Vanessa Morgan plays Toni Topaz in CW’s popular teen drama Riverdale. Initially, she was cast in a recurring role, and in May 2018, it was announced that she was promoted to be one of the series’ regulars in the third season.
