The high-octane street car racing, Fast & Furious Spy Racers season 2, is returning to Netflix. Moreover, Vin Diesel remains to be an executive producer of the Netflix original series.
Based on the successful movie franchise, the series was created by DreamWorks exclusively for Netflix. It was initially launched in December last year, with only eight 22-minute episodes in total. Although season one of the series has never been featured within the top 10s, it still garnered positive reviews. Now, Fast and Furious Spy Racers season 2 continues to honor the core themes of the Fast and Furious saga.
Last year, Vin Diesel shared how the project came into being. He said:
“When presented with the idea to do an animated series, I was like ‘Huh?’ Quickly I realized what a brilliant way to celebrate the core themes of the Fast & Furious saga and to do so [for] the youngest of our families because at the end of the day Fast & Furious is synonymous with family.”
Diesel’s daughter, Similce, made her acting debut in the series. She lends her voice to the character of Sissy Benson, the little sister of Frostee.

Season 2 plot details
Although there is no information yet with Tony’s next adventure, Season 2 of the animated series has many directions to take. Fast & Furious Spy Racers season 2 might lead Tony Torreto into another crime espionage. They also have to hand over the key to someone who could keep it safe and away from corrupt people.

Layla’s disappearance in season 1 might be a highlight in the next season. Several speculations point to a move to another location, particularly, Tokyo. The tech genius of the team, Frostee, mentions the desire to go there. Thus, season 2 will feature new adventures and challenges for the racers.
