Rumors find that the Vivo watch comes with a round AMOLED screen and tons of variations in size and strap.
According to an article by GSM Arena, the Vivo watch allows the buyers to choose between 42mm and 49mm. The case of both sizes is made of aluminum. However, the smaller version comes with a matte finish, and the larger version comes with a brushed metal finish.
The colors allow users to opt either grey and brown for the small version and between silver and black for the larger version.
The straps for the watch comes in brown leather, secret summer orange, and black silicone. It is also water-resistant of up to 5 ATM.
Furthermore, the Vivo watch bears a close resemblance to the previous generations of the Samsung Galaxy watches.
The smaller Vivo watch comes with a 1.19-inch AMOLED display with a 390×390-pixel resolution, while the 46mm model comes with a 1.39-inch panel with a 454×454-pixel resolution.
The watch features an ST miniature central control processor along with the Apollo ultra-low power coprocessor under the hood. It also features a 2 GB built-in storage and a 226 mAh battery.
The brand claims that the larger version of the watch can go up to 18 days if fully charged. However, the small version would only last for about nine days.
As for the connectivity, the watch has a Bluetooth 5.0 chip and supports connectivity over Android and iOS devices. The timepiece also has the Jovi digital voice assistant, the brand’s very own voice assistant.
According to a report by Android Authority, the watch supports several productivity features along with the sports and health features.
With this watch, a user would be able to schedule reminders, view upcoming tasks, and see current notifications on their phone.
Further reports say Vivo glazes to add certain features that are unlocked when the watch is paired with a phone of the same brand.
As for fitness tracking, the watch can track the user’s heart rate and oxygen level of the blood.
Additionally, features like daily steps, calories burned, and sleep cycles should work like a charm on the watch.
The Vivo watch is priced at 1,299 Yuan in China, which converts to $191. The price is slightly higher than the speculated $147 price but is still a reasonable one in the market generally dominated by premium brands like Apple and Samsung.
As for its availability, the said watch is available in China, and updates about an international launch of the same are still unknown.
However, users should expect the OnePlus watch from the brand’s sister company soon.
