The iQOO Z1x 5G is also among the cheapest, if not the most inexpensive, mid-range smartphone with a high display refresh rate.
Vivo’ sub-brand has finally announced the iQOO Z1x 5G, after weeks of nonstop leaks and speculations. The phone has arrived exactly what most have anticipated. Nevertheless, the handset did arrive with a feature that appears to have caught everyone by surprise – its pricing.
iQOO Z1x 5G: Among the most inexpensive 5G-powered phone
The iQOO Z1x 5G only retails for CNY 1,598, which is estimated at USD 230. This makes the phone one of the most affordable entries in the mid-range segment, which also offers 5G, alongside a throng of top-tier features.
The mid-range phone is built around a 6.57-inch TFT LCD screen, with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels. The handset’s display also packs support for HDR10 and boasts a high 120Hz refresh rate. Consequently, the phone is also one of the most accessible in its class to come with a high refresh rate.
Snapdragon 765G chip with 5,000mAh battery
The iQOO Z1x 5G also has solid mid-range internals. It is fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset, coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM tiers and 64GB/128GB/256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage options. The handset is also listed with a massive 5,000mAh battery capacity, right with support for a staggering 33W fast wired charging.
On its rear, the smartphone features a tidy-looking back panel, which only gets interrupted by a rectangular camera module. The module houses a triple-camera setup, one that is headlined by a 48MP wide sensor. The primary camera is then accompanied by two 2MP macro and depth lenses. Meanwhile, the phone’s display cutout houses a 16MP front-facing snapper.
The device’s rear camera system also features an LED flash, with support for HDR and panorama. It can also shoot 4K videos at 30 fps and 1080p@30fps clips. Its selfie shooter, on the other hand, has an aperture of f/2.0 and also supports HDR. The snapper can also record 1080p@30fps videos.
A heat-cooling pipe and a graphite sheet
The iQOO Z1x 5G has also some key miscellaneous features. These include Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, USB Type-C, and a fingerprint sensor that is mounted on its side.
The phone is also home to an 85mm heat-cooling pipe and a 1000 sq.mm. graphite sheet, which both provide a better-cooling mechanism. There is also the Cooling Turbo, a software feature that lowers the temperature at improved heights.
The iQOO Z1x 5G has three color variants – White, Blue, and Black. Vivo is yet to reveal its other availability plans for the phone.
