The upcoming episode 8 of WandaVision will be the longest yet in the MCU series on Disney Plus. It will beat the length of episode 5.
A recent report from a famous scooper reveals that episode 8 of WandaVision will be the longest in the TV show so far. It will have a runtime of 47 minutes. Currently, the most extensive duration is episode 5, which was around 42 minutes.
The Disney+ series stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany in leading roles.
WandaVision episode 8: What to expect?
There is a big reason to believe that Friday’s episode will be the longest in duration. Because Kevin Feige previously said about developing six-hour episodes.
“Well, we’re looking a little differently. We’re looking at it as developing them as either six hour-episodes or nine or 10 half-hour episodes,” he told Collider when he was promoting WandaVision.
It means that the duration of all episodes combined must meet the said target of at least six hours.
Now speaking about the show itself, a lot is going on in MCU’s first phase four entry. The seventh episode revealed the dark side of Agnes.
In reality, she is Agatha Harkness, a powerful witch who was shown as the main puppet master of the series’s events. At least that’s what was portrayed quite clearly in her own credits sequence.
Apart from Elizabeth and Paul, WandaVision also stars Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, Randall Park, and Josh Stamberg.
Upcoming Marvel projects
Meanwhile, the overall bigger picture at Marvel Studios is a bit complexed at the moment. There is a lot of content coming soon. But the pandemic is playing an inevitable supervillain. As a result of that, it becomes challenging to go smoothly in productions.
However, there’s a bit of hope now as the world has got vaccines. If the situation improves in the coming months, then the franchise’s fans will witness its new installments on big screens.
Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals are among the most-awaited movies of the MCU. If all goes right, then they might arrive in theaters comfortably.
Moving further, there are multiple future TV shows as well in the cinematic universe. Already announced titles include Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Loki, Hawkeye, Secret Invasion, Armor Wars, Ironheart, and She-Hulk. But that’s not everything!
When it comes to upcoming films, then the line-up once again looks very promising. Spider-Man 3, Thor 4, Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, Blade, GOTG 3, and Fantastic Four will arrive by next year and beyond.
Coming back to WandaVision, its next episode will stream this Friday on Disney+.
