Upcoming Disney Plus Marvel TV series WandaVision has created another hype just before the launch, with the latest Merch reveals.
According to Comicbook, the latest Merch for WandaVision just unveiled the first look at Spectrum’s classic costume! Monica Rambeau will sport the iconic suit, from the comics, in the upcoming Disney Plus TV show under the MCU.
Actress Teyonah Parris will portray the role of grown-up Monica Rambeau, aka Spectrum. Her first appearance was in 2019’s Brie Larson starrer Captain Marvel. She was a young teenager in that movie.
And now the early products, specifically foam bag clips for promotional purposes, are providing a clear at her superhero costume. And it directly takes inspiration from the comics, which is a good thing. Generally, Marvel Studios always tweaks the design of the suits in the films.
WandaVision: Early plot details
The current products also show various outfits of both Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany). It will be interesting to watch them in the live-action series. They will keep changing due to the characters’ time travel aspect.
Meanwhile, Monica’s official reveal, aka Spectrum’s classic costume in the show, will delight the fans. Earlier this year, Teyonah Parris also expressed her joy upon joining the Disney Plus Marvel project.
“This has been a childhood dream. To be a Marvel superhero. I can even remember that I’ve always said, ‘I want to be a superhero.’ Then, when the MCU opened up, I think I was in college. It was like I want to be a Marvel superhero.”
“I went to see Iron Man and seeing women in those movies kick a**. I watched those movies and said, ‘I want to do that.’”
Moreover, she also mentioned that viewers would be surprised to see many unexpected things in the series. In a way, she teased some huge elements.
“I can’t believe that this is happening. This is a full-on action movie mixed with sitcoms; it’s wild. It’s wild. I think people will be very excited.”
Upcoming MCU shows and movies
The coming year will see the entry of big films and TV shows in the MCU. Speaking of just Disney Plus, then many anticipated projects will begin shooting or arrive for streaming. Some of them are Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and Hawkeye.
On the other hand, She-Hulk, a Nick Fury-based series, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel will also form a great future line-up.
Meanwhile, the first “phase four” Marvel content in WandaVision, will certainly stun the die-hard MCU lovers.
The TV show starts streaming on Jan. 15, 2021, on Disney Plus.
