WandaVision is heading to Disney+ soon but a lot of its details are still kept under wraps. The series is also going to feature Vision. But how can he be alive after the events of Avengers: Endgame?
WandaVision is an upcoming miniseries created for Disney+ and it will follow the story of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision.
According to sources, the new Marvel Studios and Disney+ series is going to take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. It’s a big question mark though since in the movie, Vision was killed off.
How can Vision appear in the show?
Nothing is certain yet but speculations say that the series could be set in an alternate reality inside Wanda’s head. There’s a possibility that Vision’s death may have caused her to spiral down and that she may have gone insane.
It seems like a mind-bending plot. But since Wanda is one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it could be the only way to bring back Vision to life. It could be the only way for them to be together again and make things normal.

When is WandaVision premiering?
The miniseries was initially announced to premiere on Disney+ late this year. However, due to the shutdown of productions caused by the pandemic, it seems like things may be different.
Nothing has been announced yet but it seems like it’s going to be delayed to next year. The show is also going to be a very short one. It will only have a total of six episodes, which is shorter than the eight-episode The Mandalorian.
This isn’t anything new though since Marvel TV shows like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki are said to have only six episodes as well. It’s still not known if it will have a season 2.
Directing the show is director Matt Shakman, the same director of Game of Thrones. Meanwhile, Jac Schaeffer is the showrunner.
Elizabeth Olsen is going to reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff as well as Paul Bettany as Vision.
Reports also reveal that Kat Dennings will be part of the show and she will reprise her role as Darcy Lewis. Fans may recall her as part of the Thor movie.
Kathryn Hahn of Bad Moms is said to play the role of a nosy neighbor character. Another surprising cast is Teyonah Parris who will be playing Maria Rambeau’s daughter, Monica.
She appeared in Captain Marvel as a young girl but in WandaVision, she is going to be all grown up. Stay tuned for more details.
