Warner Bros. is set to excite fans once again with a 24-hour digital event. Mark your calendars as DC FanDome is coming this August 22.
As gamers await Ubisoft Forward this coming weekend, Warner Bros. sets the bar for its most ambitious virtual convention.
After reports that DC would be skipping this year’s Comic-Con because they will be having its own convention, this is it. As per DC Comics, they will be running a 24-hour convention where fans can have an online immersive experience.

What’s inside the DC FanDome?
The epicenter of the DC FanDome is the Hall of Heroes. This where fans can experience Warner Bros. reveals from a variety of films, TV series, and games.
With reports coming in about big companies interested in acquiring its gaming division, fans may see a surprise announcement from them anytime soon. So far, Microsoft seems to be getting the upper hand as far as reports are concerned.
Going deeper into the DC Multiverse, fans get a chance to explore five additional satellite worlds with their own unique themes:
- DC WatchVerse is where fans can watch never before seen footage from their films, TV series and games;
- DC YouVerse is a world where fans can showcase their artwork, cosplay, and other digital content;
- DC KidsVerse is a family-friendly world where parents can get to spend their time with their kids through the DC universe;
- DC InsiderVerse is where creative enthusiasts come together to look at the master artisans who brought life to the universe;
- DC FunVerse is for the readers and collectors where they can receive digital exclusives and access to merchandise stores.
Games and movies to look out for at the DC FanDome
One of the biggest news related to this convention this month is Zack Snyder confirming that he will be releasing a teaser of Justice League just before the event as per DR Movie News.

Other TV and movie features for the DC Universe would include Black Adam, The Flash, Aquaman, DC’s Stargirl to name a few. In addition, a preview of Wonder Woman 1984 coming this fall to theaters worldwide will be featured in this digital convention.
In the gaming category, rumors are coming in that another Batman Arkham game will be previewed in the digital convention as well as a Harry Potter RPG.
Last month, there have been reports that Warner Bros. has teamed up with NetEase to produce another mobile game called The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War.
It looks 2020 still has a lot in store for gaming and entertainment enthusiasts, especially the fans of the DC universe.
