The long-awaited adaptation of the Warrior Nun Areala comic book is, currently, streaming on Netflix. Now, fans are looking forward to the release of Warrior Nun season 2.
Screenwriter and producer, Simon Barry spun the tale of the creator, Ben Dunn, into his visionary take of the story. Barry took the challenging task of balancing the story to create a whole new fresh experience for both comic book fans and TV viewers.
Warrior Nun season 2 plot
There is little info about the plot of Warrior Nun season 2, but it is assumed that the story will pick up its pace from cliffhanger finale of season 1. Last season, the women from the Order of Cruciform Sword had just successfully created a diversion for Adriel to buy time for Ava, who was recharging her Halo and summon a Divinium sword.

However, just as she was about to use the weapon, Adriel calls forth his army of demons to possess bystanders. Now it becomes a battle royale. Season 2 will presumably bring Ava and Adriel into a battle. Fans are hoping that Ava will have the strength to defeat Adriel and his demon allies.
Who will be in the cast of season 2?
From the striking action scenes of Season 1, they already lost a lot of central characters to the fierce demon enemies. Fortunately, fans will still see important characters to resume their roles for the second installment. Most of all, viewers can expect Alba Baptiste to resume her role as Ava.

It can also be assumed that fans will see more of her comrades from the Vatican’s Secret Order of the Cruciform Sword. Viewers are already speculating the return of Toya Turner, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Lorena Andrea, and Olivia Delcan. They can also expect the appearance of the demon Adriel, played by William Miller to finish the fight once and for all.
When is the release date for season 2?
The series has yet to receive the green light for the second season. Hence, it is ambiguous to conclude the return of the series to the home screens. But the signs are pointing towards a possible comeback for Barry’s exceptional storyline.
The Warrior Nun has continued to garner positive feedback from the viewers. It is even receiving a big Rotten Tomatoes rating of 74% to prove its success in the screens. With a strong fan base, the series will certainly return to Netflix. If the regular production schedule resumes, they could release the second season as early as the summer of 2021.
