“While we initially planned to release it in late May, we want to make sure that the different teams working on separate pieces of content have the time they need to create the best game experiences possible,” said the post.
“This extra time will also allow us to fix bugs found in TU 4.0, as well as add some more Quality of Life improvements. We’re happy to let you know that 60 FPS, or ‘performance mode’, is coming to consoles with TU 4.5.”
The update will also allow players to connect with friends within the same console line. Playstation 5 players can connect with PS4 players, while Xbox Series X/S can connect with Xbox One players.
PVP modes, Bloodline Story DLC pushed to August
With 60fps Performance Mode coming for Watch Dogs: Legion, the devs are also looking to build up their PVP modes. The team plans to do so by moving back their timelines so they can invest more time.

The team also mentioned that TU 5.0 will bring Aiden and Wrench to the game. It will also come along the story expansion, which will be the Bloodline story DLC.
“Last, but certainly not least, we know you have been patiently waiting for the Bloodline Story DLC,” said the post. “Alongside the Story Expansion, TU 5.0 will also bring Aiden and Wrench to the main game, allowing you to play the entire campaign of Watch Dogs: Legion with these two legacy characters.”
Watch Dogs: Legion will release the 60fps Performance Mode on June 1. The game’s Update 4.0 fixed many problems for the game, including many fun little features.
