Wendy Williams threw some shades at Ellen DeGeneres and her The Ellen DeGeneres Show ending, and everyone agreed to her opinion.
Wendy Williams jabbed Ellen DeGeneres — for real.
This week, DeGeneres dropped a bombshell update about her decision to put an end to her long-time running daytime show. According to the 63-year-old comedian, she will be saying goodbye for good after the 19th season.
Williams, in return, pushed her fellow talk show host in the hot seat again by addressing the news in the recent episode of her series.
Wendy Williams thinks Ellen DeGeneres is lying
On Thursday, the 56-year-old host began the segment by congratulating DeGeneres and her 19-year-old show.
However, the atmosphere changed when Williams smirked and outed all the feelings that bottled up for years.

She said, “All you’ve been through all those 19 years, including the workplace conditions, which… by the way, I believe she’s leaving because [of] the workplace conditions. You know? I mean, we all know people who’ve worked there… and people who’ve worked here themselves.”
Williams added more fuel to the fire by expressing how glad she is to see DeGeneres thanked her fans — sarcastically.
Despite the large fandom of the controversial host, Williams noted that DeGeneres’ 19 years of stay on the TV screen does not change her nor her life at all. Instead, the stint only exposed the “Seriously… I’m Kidding” author’s real attitude.
Williams personally saw the “toxic workplace”
The Wendy Williams Show host added that not all guests who came to DeGeneres’ show was happy. In fact, she also experienced the worst on the CBS show. Per Williams, people started calling her out because of DeGeneres and never got the chance to say something about it.
“I don’t know whether [Ellen] told her current staff, though. She seems like the type of person who could come out on stage and announce it to everybody,” Williams jabbed.
After leaving the comments, the host added that people need to watch the show until May 2022. Until then, DeGeneres’ fans should feel so lucky.
Why Ellen DeGeneres wants to end the show
Amid the issues, DeGeneres still called herself a kind person since she never really knew about it.
In her interview with Savannah Guthrie for Today, she claimed that the reason why she wants to end the show was not because of the issues.
“If it was why I was quitting, I would have not come back this year. I really did think about not coming back because it did. You know, I mean it was devastating. I am a kind person. I am a person who likes to make people happy,” she said.
