Where will Meghan Markle, Prince Harry share son Archie’s first birthday photo

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will, reportedly, release a birthday portrait of their son, Archie when he turns 1 on May 6.

However, royal fans are wondering which platform Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will use. After all, the royal couple is no longer using their Sussex Royal Instagram account.

According to Express, it is possible for Prince Harry and Markle to create a new Instagram account for their charity, Archewell. If they will create the account soon, this is most likely where the Sussexes will share their son’s photo.

However, there have also been reports suggesting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will wait until the coronavirus pandemic is over before they launch their charity.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s rep’s confirmation

Royal commentators weigh in

On the HeirPod podcast, royal commentator Omid Scobie and CTV’s Laney Lui talked about Archie’s first birthday. Lui expressed her concerns over not getting any update from Prince Harry and Markle online.

“But in a month’s time is baby Archie’s first birthday and I think a lot of us were expecting that because they’ve given us Archie GIFs and little Archie drops in the past that that would be the account where we’d see some sort of Archie birthday wish for his big milestone. So now, like is Archie’s birthday just going to pass quietly? And no one is going to see any photo of him?” Lui said.

The royal commentator asked Scobie if he thinks Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will set up a new social media account, where they will share their son’s photo.

Scobie said that he thinks Archie’s first birthday will go by quietly since the Sussexes are already private individuals. Following their bombshell exit, Prince Harry said that he and Markle want to be able to lead normal lives in North America.

However, royal correspondent Roya Nikkah is confident that the Sussexes will share a photo of Archie on his first birthday. A representative of Prince Harry and Markle also told The Sunday Times that royal fans can expect to see the couple’s adorable son.

The last time that the public saw Archie was during one of Markle’s walkabouts in Canada. But at that time, Archie’s carrier was covering his face.

Archie was also photographed in public last year when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle toured South Africa. The couple also released a photo of their son on Christmas Day.
