Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage sparked various rumors after her affair with rapper August Alsina and most are not true.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been married for over two decades already. Last year, one outlet claimed that they were on a brink of a $270 million divorce. Check out the truth.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett marriage rumors
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage has its fair share of ups and downs. However, at this time last year, National Enquirer described their union as something “bizarre.”
The outlet made the claim adding that their marriage hit a crisis point over another man after August Alsina’s admission. The rapper claimed that he had an emotional affair with Jada.
Following the incident, the Smiths were reportedly “reeling from embarrassment and blaming each other for the scandal.”
The tabloid quoted an anonymous source saying that Will and Jada wanted the people to think that they were a perfect couple. However, they have been allegedly living separate lives for years.
The tipster added that their relationship turned out to be a marriage of convenience. It then dove into the various cheating allegations involving both parties. The rumor included Margot Robbie on the loop whom Will Smith worked with on the crime-comedy drama movie Focus.
Gossip Cop looked into the report and concluded a year after it was published that the claims in the article were false. It completely ignored the fact that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith discussed the issue on Red Table Talk.
Jada’s affair with August Alsina happened when they were separated. However, their separation made their “life partnership” stronger than ever.
Also, Jada and Will are still very much together. In fact, they frequently post about each on social media.
Last month, the Girls Trip star shared a photo of Will with their kids on Instagram to pay him tribute on Father’s Day.
“Happy Father’s Day Willard Thank you for being a wonderful Dad,” she wrote in the caption.
Jada confirmed entanglement with August
Jada Pinkett Smith reacted to August Alsina’s revelations about their relationship in an episode on Red Table Talk with her husband, Will Smith. She confirmed that they had a relationship but it happened when she and Smith were separated, NBC reported.
However, she denied Alsina’s claim that Will gave his permission for their affair. He made it clear that the only person who could give permission was herself. She believed Alsina said it to clear himself from the allegations of being a homewrecker. Jada confirmed that “he’s not.”
