According to Comicbook, WandaVision may witness an even bigger cameo than episode 5. Although Evan Peters as Quicksilver blew the minds of everyone, there may be one more twist around the corner. It might be one of the Spider-Man versions from the upcoming Spider-Man 3 title, as per several wild theories.
As everyone knows already, strong rumors and reports have claimed Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s involvement in Spider-Man 3. Despite no official word from Marvel and Kevin Feige, this speculation can’t be denied. Why?
Because early reports also hinted towards a crossover of Doctor Strange 2, WandaVision, and Spider-Man 3. It means all the events of these installments might intersect with each other because Feige has already confirmed the multiverse to be the main focus of MCU.
Yes, actor Tom Holland recently denied Maguire and Garfield’s addition in his next part, but it may be just a strategy. It’s a known fact that how secretively Marvel works on its new titles. And the makers never let the people in public know about any confidential information, especially spoilers.
So keeping in mind this thing, it may happen that Spider-Man 3 will include multiple Spider-Man versions. And because WandaVision mainly revolves around the concept of different realities, the possibility of either of the Spideys showing up can’t be written off. If it happens, then most likely it might be Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield.
But again, it’s just a theoretical explanation. Fans will lose their minds if it indeed becomes a reality in the MCU TV series. Future episodes will undoubtedly prove to be crucial in terms of such expectations.
Meanwhile, the entire cinematic universe is ready to come back to its regular release cycle. But the pandemic seems to be an inevitable enemy at the moment.
Marvel Studios people are trying hard to maintain a constant flow of new content.
After WandaVision ends next month, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is the next MCU entry to arrive on Disney+. Moving further, there are several highly anticipated movies, namely Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals. But rising cases of COVID-19 are pushing them also. And if the situation remains unchanged, then they might end up releasing on the streaming service.
Other future installments are Thor: Love and Thunder, Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, and Blade. Many new Marvel TV shows are also announced already. With the likes of Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Loki, Hawkeye, and She-Hulk, the line-up is indeed overloaded.
