With the on-going pandemic, Wizards of the Coast is helping to ease quarantine anxiety for players by offering D&D free materials. They are releasing a series of downloadable materials regularly on their official website allowing gamers to enjoy Dungeons & Dragons in their homes.
Now, anyone can play D&D remotely with the use of free resources that the Wizards of the Coast is posting from Monday to Friday on their official website. These materials include coloring activities, rule books, and full campaign adventures.
In an announcement, Wizards said that due to the pandemic, mostly all schools are closed all over the world. A lot of parents, caregivers, and kids who are part of the D&D community are stuck at home.
wizards also added: “If you are in need of fun & educational material to share and/or play with your kids, you can check back here each day for D&D stuff to help during this time. If you (or someone you know) is a younger gamer, we’re also releasing resources to make it even easier to get into D&D.”
D&D free content
One of the D&D free materials that are available to download is the System Reference Document. This 400-page material contains spells, races, and classes. These free contents make it easier to digest the concept of D&D, even if the player is only a beginner.
Since Amazon delays some RPG games due to the on-going pandemic, the free resources from the Wizards of the Coast is an excellent alternative for entertainment during the quarantine.
D&D for beginners
New to playing D&D? Fortunately, Wizards is also offering the Starter Set Rulebook as part of their D&D free materials. This PDF file will teach the players everything they need to know before starting the game. The complete list of spells and cantrips for starting-level magic users are also included. It makes a high starting point for anyone interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons.
Upcoming Dungeons & Dragons free materials
This week, the Wizards of the Coast is bound to upload new contents such as Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus, Adventure Zone series, and Ghost of the Saltmarsh. Even the players who love tabletop games will find something interesting in the upcoming content.
Anyone can access the D&D free materials posted on the Wizard’s official website. The Wizards are posting regularly, so there are new Dungeons & Dragons contents every week!
