Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot may just have teased an Aquaman cameo in the upcoming film.
Aquaman star Jason Momoa could make an appearance in Wonder Woman 1984. With the Wonder Woman sequel delayed, Warner Bros. Pictures reportedly wants to bring in Momoa for a few scenes.
An appearance from Aquaman would be a great hook for comic book fans. After all, the first Aquaman movie earned almost US$1.15 billion in the box office. Momoa could help the sequel surpass its 2017 predecessor in box office earnings.
It can be recalled that both Gadot and Momoa already starred together in 2017’s Justice League. If the reports are true, the Wonder Woman sequel would serve as a reunion for the two actors.
Gal Gadot teases Aquaman appearance
Gal Gadot seemed to confirm the reports in an interview. She dropped the clue when she was asked to describe how different Diana will be in the sequel.
She was very naive and she didn’t understand the complexities of life. A fish out of water. In this movie, that’s not the case whatsoever. Diana has evolved. She’s much more mature and very wise.
The line “a fish out of water” seems to be a deliberate attempt from the actress to inform fans. It remains to be seen if what she indicated in the interview will ultimately come true.
