According to Comicbook, the highly-awaited She-Hulk might start shooting in the coming months. And now it’s got a working title in the meantime, and that is “Libra.” The name was observed on Production Weekly’s recent listing.
The term “Libra” fits the character very obviously because it’s also a Zodiac sign rendered in pairs of scales. And it happens to be a symbol associated with the law. And Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, is also a lawyer in Marvel comics.
Speaking of the show, then it’s been a rollercoaster ride so far. Because just when fans thought the actress was finalized, Tatiana Maslany denied the rumors of being the lead. That was very shocking to know for everyone. But she clearly said that she’s not playing Jennifer Walters in the Disney Plus series. Her involvement in the show was announced back in September.
That means the makers will search for a new face for this anticipated MCU title’s protagonist character.
There are no clear details right now regarding the plot of the TV show. In the comics, Jennifer is known to operate as a superhero and a lawyer. And she also defends her fellow superhero friends whenever they need her.
Jessica Gao is the showrunner, who’s known for Rick and Morty and Silicon Valley. A release date is yet to be announced, which will only happen after the production is done.
Meanwhile, there are many other movies, and TV shows that Marvel Studios is working on. Due to COVID-19, the makers have faced a lot of production delays. And not just that, the phase four MCU films initially scheduled for this year have been moved to 2021 now.
Black Widow, Eternals, Doctor Strange 2, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Spider-Man 3 are all delayed. The pandemic has forced Marvel to take a difficult but obvious decision. Fans are yet to witness any new installment under the next MCU phase.
Other titles like Captain Marvel 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, and Blade will also arrive late because their products will only start once the current projects are finished filming.
