There’s a lot of time for the Secret Invasion Disney+ MCU series to make its arrival. But a working title is already revealed for the show.
According to Comicbook, Marvel’s Secret Invasion TV show has received a working title. Famous scooper Charles Murphy recently shared the news on it. The title is called “Changeup Productions”.
It’s a common practice for major studios to use working titles for their new projects. However, in Marvel Studios, the fans always keep a check on what’s coming next.
Marvel’s Secret Invasion early details
Since its announcement last December by Kevin Feige, die-hard MCU lovers are curious about the show. Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn will reprise their roles of Nick Fury and Skrull leader Talos respectively.
Secret Invasion will also open new doors of unexpected possibilities in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Everything that people know so far might change forever if it goes as per the comic book storyline. And in that, the Skrulls take over the Earth through shapeshifting while disguising themselves as one of the superheroes and key characters as well!
Another thing that proves this possibility is Feige himself. Back in 2019, during the promotion of Captain Marvel, he said:
“Just like not all humans are bad, and not all humans are good, I think Skrulls probably have a variety of moralities amongst them.”
Thus, it seems like Skrulls will play a twisting role in Secret Invasion, and it will directly affect all the events inside the MCU’s timeline. Past incidents could be used as well, from the old movies.
A recent rumor further stated that Chris Evans might return as Captain America with this Disney+ series.
Upcoming MCU projects in the future
Meanwhile, whatever happens in the most popular entertainment franchise globally, fans will love it for sure because they have waited for more than a year now. Thankfully, WandaVision ended the drought of MCU content in July 2019. The Disney Plus TV series made its premiere last Friday. And so far, it has received rave reviews from both critics and viewers. It’s also the first entry in the Phase four line-up.
Apart from this, other projects are coming soon this year. With the likes of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Ms. Marvel, Loki, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Secret Invasion, the stage looks set for Disney’s streaming service. It will host all the MCU titles, including upcoming movies as well. Black Widow, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, and Spider-Man 3 are four installments scheduled to be released in 2021. If everything goes right regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, they will possibly get an expected theatrical release.
