Microsoft revamps the iconic startup sound of the Xbox. Fans are getting hyped by the seemingly angelic new tone of the boot up.
Microsoft steadily unveils the Xbox Series X just in time for the debut of the first gameplay demo on the console which is scheduled on May 7, 2020. The event will feature a first glance at the upcoming next generation console running different game titles including the much anticipated Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Revamped boot up animation
Ahead of the Xbox Series X gameplay unveiling event, Microsoft has revealed what appears to be the console’s newly revamped boot up sound.
In a video uploaded on the official Xbox Youtube channel, fans can watch a 10-second boot animation fused with a soft soundscape. When turning on the closed caption option, the snippet is referred to as “New Xbox Sound”.
The new boot up animation replaced the original sharp-toned video used currently by the whole Xbox console family and was featured as the console’s marketing sound for at least a decade.
