The Redmi 10X series has been officially launched in China as the company’s latest set of mid-range smartphones.
The Redmi 10X lineup has been unveiled in three different variants. This includes the Redmi vanilla version, the Redmi 10X 5G, and the Redmi 10X 5G Pro.
Redmi’s new series’ variants all come with a stylish gradient back finish and multiple rear cameras. However, there are key differences that set each of the Redmi 10X models apart from each other.
The Redmi 10X 5G and its Pro version share a lot of the same hardware but differs mainly in the camera setup, storage options, and charging. On the other hand, Redmi 10X is reportedly a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9.
The 10X 5G Pro is the top-of-the-line in the series
Bearing the moniker Pro, Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G Pro is an improved version of the Redmi 10X 5G in a few ways. It sports a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, a zoom lens with 30x digital zoom, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.
The phone also comes with a 20-megapixel selfie shooter on the front side. Another highlight to the 10X 5G Pro comes with the 33W fast charge which fully juices up its Li-Po 4520 mAh battery in approximately under an hour.
The Redmi 10X 5G model, on the other hand, comes with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Its front camera is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The 10X 5G model supports 22.5W fast charging.
Both of the Redmi 10X 5G variants boast a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ support. They also pack Dual 5G sim support, which makes Xiaomi’s Redmi 10X 5G the first smartphone released with the feature. The MediaTek Dimensity 820 5G chipset powers both the Redmi 10X 5G and the Pro versions, and this chipset packs a punch.
The Redmi 10X is not far behind the 5G models
As the rebranded version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, the Redmi 10X is a 4G model that comes with quad rear camera support which includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
