A new report has seemingly confirmed that despite not showing up at the Keynote 2021 event, AirPods 3 is coming very soon.
AirPods 3 didn’t make its debut during the recently concluded Apple iPhone 13 event. But the good news is that they are in production already.
Release date and details on AirPods 3
During the “California Streaming” event, Apple revealed its newest smartphone line-up with the iPhone 13. However, many people noticed something strange after the conclusion of the online session. There was no news on the AirPods 3.
Replacing the much-awaited third generation of the TWS headphones, iPad 9th generation, and iPad Mini made their way.
But recently, a new report revealed that Apple is still going ahead with its plans regarding AirPods 3. Tech news platform DigiTimes (via MacRumors) shared key details on the same.
As per the news, the third generation of AirPods is already in production. Because the suppliers have begun shipping the units.
However, Taiwanese outlet DigiTimes also mentioned that the shipment has been “slow” in its speed. But the news of production indicates that Apple will likely release the next-gen AirPods before the end of 2021.
The latest report does not reveal any release date for the products. But it seems likely that they might arrive alongside the upcoming MacBook Pro later this fall.
Another option is that Apple might come up with a press release, similar to how it revealed AirPods Max last year. The latter was announced from the Newsroom section of the company on its official website in 2020.
Upcoming Apple announcements
Meanwhile, many other exciting products are rumored to arrive sooner or later in the coming months.
After the iPhone 13 event, tech enthusiasts have their eyes set on the following versions of the iPhone because there was a major leak recently, just before the Keynote event.
Reputed and famous industry insider Jon Prosser revealed several concept models of next year’s iPhone 14 series. And if the early speculations are anything to go by, the 2022 line-up will possess titanium instead of stainless steel, at least in the Pro versions.
Due to this heavy leak, there were doubts among many people that consumers wouldn’t opt for the iPhone 13. Well, that will be interesting to see later this year.
As for the new products, Apple is also expected to release the second-generation AirPods Pro probably in 2022.
Those interested in the iPhones can now pre-order the latest variants. The delivery will be made by September 24.
