League of Legends patch 10.16 has been deployed on its Public Beta Environment (PBE). We also get hints of a future champion named Samira aside from Yone in the next patch this coming August.
While the debut of Lillia and the Nexus Blitz limited-time event are making the players busy, it looks like Riot Games dropped another surprise.
The rumors and leaks about Yone have been confirmed as League of Legends will include him in the champion roster along with his blossom skin.

We are going to look at Yone’s abilities plus another possible character discovered via an emote for the upcoming patches.
A quick peek at Yone’s dual-blade skills
As per Surrender at 20, an independent League of Legends news site, these are the skills that Yone will probably possess in the next patch.
The passive skill of Yone deals 50% magic damage of every second attack with an increased critical strike chance. However, his critical strikes have 10% reduced damage.
Yone’s first skill, called Mortal Steel, thrusts forward and deals physical damage. His second skill is somewhat similar to Yasuo, but instead of a defense wall, he gets a shield for himself once he hits a hero.
For those who read the League of Legends champion roadmap as it mentioned that this champion would have “an out of body experience,” this may be referencing to the Soul Unbound skill of Yone.
Roses are for Samira and other patch notes
However, Surrender at 20 also uncovered something recently in the game files which looks like another champion being teased in the works as they said in their roadmap:
“Do you like to laugh in the face of danger? Do you enjoy stringing together abilities, creating stylish new combos? Does the idea of diving straight into the fray, firing a whirlwind of blades and bullets, then hopping back out with a sliver of health excite you?”
Judging from the statement, it looks like we’re going to get a possible hybrid of a marksman and an assassin. In addition, the “stylish new combos” might be referring to this emote that was unveiled by Surrender at 20 via Twitter.

Some Twitter users are already speculating the character could be similar to Bayonetta since she has a shotgun weapon called Onyx Roses.
Other YouTubers such as Remus also said that Samira might be a marksman champion with a graded combo meter similar to what we see in games such as the Devil May Cry series.
With the recent Nintendo gigaleaks that appeared this week, it’s no surprise that more leaks would continue to spawn. In addition, League of Legends Lead Gameplay Designer Mark Yetter has given us a teaser with what’s to come.
10.16 Patch Preview with changes:
Not 100% final, but getting close. We have a good meta, so a lot of small changes is our approach to diversify without destroying it. pic.twitter.com/lVHTXdTu10

As the patch is set to be released on August 5, League of Legends fans may want to try out Yone, the 150th champion in the roster, or wait for Samira to come out once this leak confirms officially.
