Nvidia’s newest DLSS 2.2 update recently made it to the Rainbow Six Siege. But now players can try it on Cyberpunk 2077 also.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one game that suffers a lot due to irregular frame rates. However, can correct them with the latest DLSS update.
‘Cyberpunk 2077’, but with DLSS 2.2 improvement!
The DLSS technology lets the player ‘super sample’ lower resolution pictures into high-quality versions. They eventually come out sharp, either in 2K or 4K resolutions.
The technology fills in the missing data in real-time and results in an increased framerate.
And it seems like the fresh DLSS update is quite effective in improving the sci-fi, open-world game.
The update is not a mod, and it’s just a database file borrowed from the latest build of Rainbow Six Siege. Thus, you have to copy it to your folder of Cyberpunk 2077. It significantly improves the framerate while solving the problem of ‘ghosting’ artifacts.
Talking about the difference between the game’s pre-DLSS state and after it, it’s enormous.
For example, during an encounter in the Night City where there were framerates of just 28 FPS, you get a 36-40 FPS boost. All it takes is replacing the database file in the main game’s folder.
Interested players can download the newest DLSS 2.2 file from Nexus Mods. Just drop the ‘bin’ folder in the .zip file into the directory. Then click ‘yes’ when asked about replacing the existing file.

What’s next for the CDPR title?
Meanwhile, CD Projekt RED is currently busy regaining the lost ground following the disastrous launch of CP77.
Recently, the developer managed to bring the open-world title back to the PlayStation Store after six months.
However, there are still lots of other problems that the game has to overcome.
Firstly, the issue of bugs and glitches still prevails even after some major updates. Rolled out a Hotfix 1.23 last week.
Then there’s the entire project’s scope to expand the story into engaging and excellent DLCs. While there has been an announcement on that front, fans will have to wait a little longer.
Speaking of some of the highly awaited DLCs, Cyberpunk 2077 is hoping to receive extra content for Judy and Jackie.
The CDPR title is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are still in development.
