Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs shōnen manga series may have already officially ended, but there’s still something to look forward to. Fans are going still going to get something special later this year.
Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs is a series that follows the life of a high school student named Kogarashi Fuyuzora, who is also plagued by ghosts. Luckless and homeless, he tried searching for a home.
He was then introduced to Yugari Inn, a cheap boarding house and former hot springs inn. The rent is cheap, and it’s because it’s haunted.
Kogarashi takes it still and meets a beautiful ghost spirit named Yuuna, a 16-year old girl who resides in the inn.

He helps her with her unfinished business while finding out other supernatural things from the rest of the female tenants.
The manga first dropped in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in 2016. After a four-year run, it has collected a total of 22 volumes in tankōbon format.
The announcement
According to Comic Book, Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs came with an announcement after it officially ended in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
Fans can expect to see a special pair of Original Video Animation or OVA anime. It will be released despite the title being one of the most divisive series due to its more erotic content.
The special pair of OVA anime will be available to ship soon on a Blu-ray disc along with the release of the manga’s final two volumes in Japan.
According to Anime Mojo, Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs will ship the final volume and anime on December 4.
Moreover, there is also going to be a special “bath” art that is created by the series creator himself, Tadahiro Miura. Fans who are interested can pre-order the bundle until October 1.
Chapter adaptations
Not a lot of details regarding the OVA are divulged, but the two episodes are going to adapt stories from chapters of the series.
One will adapt chapter 99 and will be titled “Cursed Kogarashi.” Meanwhile, the second will adapt chapter 141 and will be titled “In the Nick of Time!? Hot Spring Incident.”

At the moment, there are no updates or news yet on the future of its TV adaptation. It was adapted in 2018 by Aniplex of America and was made available to stream on Crunchyroll.
It has only released a total of 12 episodes, but there hasn’t any announcement regarding season 2 yet. It has led many to question whether it’s going to move forward or not.
