Zac Efron is back on the big screen as he joins the upcoming reboot of the science fiction horror film “Firestarter.”
Based on the 1980 novel by Stephen King, the new adaptation revolves around the life of a young girl, who develops pyrokinetic, or an ability to set objects or people on fire through the concentration of psychic power, and has an ability to see the future.
Unfortunately, she was abducted by a secret government agency called The Shop, that plans to weaponize her superpower skills.

Meanwhile, Martha De Laurentiis, who was the associate producer of the original film, will now be the executive producer alongside Teems.

Moreover, the 32-year-old actor is set to return to Disney to remake the ’80s comedy sitcom “Three Men and a Baby.”
