Wynonna Earp season 4 is all set to premiere next month. Fans have been looking forward to it and now finally details are here.
Avid followers of the supernatural Western horror series Wynonna Earp are in for a treat! After all the hurdles the show went through, Syfy has finally revealed that they are releasing the title next month.
It’s been a long wait for Wynonna Earp season 4. It was renewed back in July 2018 but due to financial constraints, production had to be halted.
According to Comic Book, there were some financial issues on the part of IDW Entertainment. The future of the series was then hanging by the thread. Fortunately, fans rallied behind it and their efforts were not put to waste.

When is the fourth season coming?
Wynonna Earp season 4 is finally dropping on Syfy on July 26. The announcement was made through a short clip uploaded on the show’s official Twitter account.
The clip also acknowledged how the fans helped in fighting for the show’s return saying through bold letters, “You fought for it” and “we heard you.”
And though the video jumped from one scene to another, fans can tell that the fourth run of the show is packed with demons, mystical portals and bad-ass weapons. There’s even a Game of Thrones reference.
Lead actress Melanie Scrofano is reprising her role as the titular character. She is joined by Dominique Provost-Chalkley as Waverly Earp, Katherine Barrell as Officer Nicole Haught and Tim Rozon as Doc Holliday among others.
Fans must take note though that there will only be six episodes released for the first half of the season. The popular series based on the IDW comic created by Beau Smith had to stop the production for season 4 due to the pandemic.
This means that the mid-season finale will air on August 30. The rest of the six remaining episodes will air on a later date.
They are still working on resuming production, which is expected to happen later this summer in Calgary, Alberta.
Comic-Con update
Cartermatt also reported that Wynonna Earp will be joining the Comic-Con @ Home. The network already confirmed that fans will get to see the stars in the virtual convention.
Showrunner Emily Andras will also be present to give some of the juiciest details of the upcoming fourth season.
At the moment, there is no word yet on when exactly the show will be appearing in the online convention. But the @Home presentation is scheduled to run from July 23 until July 26.
The series is premiering on the last day of the convention so it’s expected that they will go live before that date.
Fans will have to stay tuned for more details on Wynonna Earp season 4.
