Following the success of BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga’s ‘Sour Candy,’ several details about the K-pop group’s new album have since emerged. As stated, the all-female group is making a “three-part” comeback this year, starting with ‘How You Like That.’
After the release of the group’s new single, fans of the group have become a lot more excited about their next moves. BLINKS had remained in the dark, waiting for new announcements, these past few weeks. But, after the group released its new teaser, the tone has seemingly changed, according to the New Straits Times.
On Thursday, BLACKPINK’s official social media accounts posted a copy of their new teaser poster. In it, it reveals that they will release a “new single” this August.
The same publication said that this is the second part of the group’s comeback. Aside from the upcoming single, there will also reportedly be “solo” singles for each member of the K-pop group.
Details have remained undisclosed before the public. But, while everyone is already excited about the solos, BLINKS are now more looking forward to the upcoming “collaboration.” As reported, the poster teased that the new single will feature another “artist.”
The poster did not have any clues in it to identify the featuring artist. But, fans and followers reportedly have “eagle eyes.”
As they continue their keen observations, they have reportedly come across several “hints” that the new and upcoming single of BLACKPINK will feature Ariana Grande.
Reports then pointed out that the ‘Stuck With U’ singer “liked” the teaser poster Jennie had posted. Alongside Grande, several individuals from her camp also reportedly “liked” the group’s teaser photo for their upcoming single.
IKO-X Official on YouTube also explained a few things why many are certain that the all-female K-pop group will have Ariana Grande in their new single. One of these is reportedly the fact that the ‘7 Rings’ artist previously mentioned of a collaborating with BLACKPINK.
Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé are reportedly “good friends” with Ariana Grande. As revealed, they all met a few years back in Coachella.
Since then, both camps have reportedly hung out a couple of times. Grande’s music producer, Tommy Brown, even posted a photo with the BLACKPINK members in 2019. The same photo also sparked collaboration rumors back then.
